Ever since I first saw Star Trek: Nemesis when it was originally in the theater at the end of 2002, I’ve been waiting for another Star Trek movie to tie up the loose ends–especially those relating to B-4 and Data’s memories. Unfortunately, it was never made.
Finally, however, David Mack has completed that task in his new novel The Persistence of Memory, which is the first book in the Star Trek: The Next Generation: Cold Equations trilogy. The second book in the series, Silent Weapons, is due out this month. The third book, The Body Electric, should be available in December.
I strongly recommend The Persistence of Memory to any Star Trek fan.
