The SL-NET social went well yesterday. Eight of us chatted about Second Life and education. We also exchanged ideas and inventory items. One suggestion that seemed to meet with general agreement was to have different members host tours of their institution’s islands so we can see what others are doing.
Sponsored by Sloan-C, SL-NET is a group of college and university educators using Second Life and other technology to provide more effective learning experiences for their students and professional development opportunities for themselves. To keep up with SL-NET activities, join our group in SL, our Ning social network, or our mailing list.
