We gather semantic web objects instead of documents. These objects are conceptualisations of real world entities. An object can be any real Thing, for example a Person, City or Event. Objects have properties, such as a Person has a name and date of birth, whereas an institution has a date of establishment. Objects can relate to each other, for example one Person may be the parent of another Person. We gather our conceptual awareness by harmonising objects within the semantic web.
